This policy explains what information the DealMunch website collects before launch and how we use it. We keep it short and in plain language.

What we collect

When you use the waitlist and contact form, we collect your name, your email address, whether you’re signing up as a diner or as a restaurant or franchise, and the date and time you signed up.

To prevent spam, we briefly use a one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to limit how many sign-ups can come from one connection. It isn’t stored with your sign-up and is deleted automatically within about 15 minutes.

This website doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.

How we use it

We use your details only to contact you about DealMunch, for example to tell you when it’s available or to follow up on early access for your restaurant. We don’t sell your information.

Your location in the app

When the DealMunch app uses your location to show deals near you, your location stays in your browser.

Where it’s stored

Sign-ups are stored with our hosting provider, Cloudflare. We may move them to a mailing or customer-management tool we use to contact you.

Your choices

You can ask us to update or delete your details at any time. Use the contact form and tell us what you’d like changed.

If we change this policy, we’ll update this page and the date above.
